MISSION:
Our goal is to drive innovation among our students and also showcase the promise of our student’s ability to apply their newfound knowledge in business and technology to solve practical problems in the real-world.
Through this program, we hope to affect the Greater Milwaukee community with an infusion of bright students who have a passion for technology and demonstrate innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirits.
We hope to extend this opportunity to a larger regional community on an annual basis.
The students saw an opportunity to build a Mobile App for requesting and tracking assigned LIMOs (campus shuttle) at Marquette. The concept is very similar to that of Uber and Lyft. They also felt that this product that can be accessible to other University ride-share services, beyond MU.
Here is the URL of a web version of the Mobile App (LYMO) that the students built and demonstrated in their proposals: http://lymo.azurewebsites.net/
